PBR is Back
Get ready for the return of PBR which has been on hiatus for some time now. Just when other teams thought their seasons were looking up, back comes Team Case's go to sport, in which they outscore the next closes competitor by 40 points per event. It is a biggie for third place Team Spaulding however, who is chasing Team Stancil for 2nd place. Team Spaulding has averaged slightly better scores than Team Stancil in this event and it will be vital that neither team misses a week which could set them back 400 or more points. Team Burns continues to fall at an alarming rate out of the chase for a place, all but having thrown in the towel for this season. It is a dissapointing turn of events after this team came storming out of gates when they were added midway through the season to work its way into second place, only to tumble down the ranks after losing 5 NASCAR events in a row and missing 3 of the last 5 NHRA events. While we can't count out Team Burns yet it is not looking good for their fans.

Team Stancil Pulls Out (To a Lead)
With the season nearing the chase for the cup Team Stancil has begun to pull apart from the rest of the field in an attempt to secure the coveted second place spot in the RFC. Team Stancil was the first competitor to win back to back NHRA events and although he lost the H2H NASCAR battle he managed to score more than 500 points and now sits almost 1000 points ahead of third place Team Spaulding.
Next week is a slow one in the RFC with only a NASCAR event to prepare for, but after that PBR returns with a vengence for eight straight weeks so enjoy the down time.

BASS Finals This Week
The BASS season comes to a close this week with the tournament's final event taking place in Syracuse, NY. While it may be too late to win this event, don't forget that it still counts towards your overall points and right now the difference between 2nd place and 4th place is only 400 points. This difference can easily be made up in one week of BASS.
This week we also have NASCAR and NHRA going on as well so dont forget to check your rosters or pick your teams. NASCAR is a road race so some of your normal drivers may not be driving this week.

Team Stancil Makes Late Season Push
Team Stancil swept the RFC this week to earn themselves two event wins jumping from 6th to 3rd in the event standings. They also managed to gain over 230 points on Team Burns and now sits only 400 points out of second place. Team Stancil and Team Case also managed to once again dominate PBR by placing 7th and 8th nationally, and are well on their way to being PBR commentators.

Home Stretch
Sorry, although I have been updating the standings I guess I haven't posted anything recently.... anyways here is where we stand. We have 17 weeks left before the end of the RFC 2008 season. There is still plenty of time to try and make a run for the lead. As of right now the event points leaders are as follows:
NASCAR: Hames
BASS: Kenny
PBR: Kenny
NHRA: Kenny
OVERALL: Kenny
This week was a huge point swing since many competitors forgot to fill out their NHRA team. Team Case jumped to the front of the NHRA points which had been dominated by Team Burns all season long and in NASCAR Team Spaulding broke the week point record with 589 points and now sits alone in both H2H wins and total points in NASCAR.
