ESPN Can't Keep Us Down

Despite ESPN scrapping Fantasy NASCAR, the RFC will hold their own league. Take that ESPN.

Standings

I have been updating the standings the last few weeks but for some reason my copy of excel is fucked up and I can't create a version that is compatable with google docs anymore. Bear with me a little longer until I can figure it out, I'll have new standings up soon, I may just have to bite the bullet and change them in google docs.

Martinsville and Cancelling BASS

First off, just a heads up that I will dominate Martinsville, even the top NASCAR team, Team Meximelt, cannot stop me. Secondly, Harman and Hames are creaters, and they may have been able to cancel day three of the BASS tournament this week but next week will not be so easy.

Lack of Updates

I realize there haven't been any updates to the standings lately. Well you have no one to blame but yourselves. The standings are as current as can be since no one sends me the PBR scores. I'll update as soon as I have a new full week of scores to report. So in summary, if you want to see the standings email me your PBR scores.

Big Weekend in the RFC

There are 5 events coming up this weekend so plan accordingly. There is going to be two PBR events which means we are going to have to choose bulls twice this week so keep an eye out. According to the PBA schedule there are also two PBA events but fantasy might only count them as one, either way make sure you arent using a nearly maxed player just in case. Last but not least NHRA kicks off this weekend so make sure you are signed up and in the RFC 2009 private league.

Boo PBR

Apparently the PBR Fantasy game is not allowing us to create our own groups anymore. So now everyone will have to send me their scores, hooray more work for me. Luckily with the four team format it is not as tedious to update everything. PBR has also failed to get a working 2009 overall standings going, so I can't keep track of the massive beat downs the RFC is giving to the rest of the USA.

And We're Back...

Haven't had a working computer for a while so the site and standings have been a little behind. I uploaded the new standings, although no PBR is added in yet because they still haven't given any indication of whether or not we will be able to set up a private group. So for now only the PBA points have been awarded. Still not 100% complete but now that I'm back in school I'll have plenty of time to get it up to par.

An unpolished version of the standings is up and working now.

RFC 2009 Standings Are Coming

I am having some technically difficulties getting the standings to work right in Google Docs. As soon as I figure out what the problem is I will post the 2009 standings.

2009 RFC Results

The 2009 RFC standings are still under construction. I will post the standings after the next PBA event. Although keep in mind that it will not be 100% complete. I have had to rework it a little bit so most of it is good but there are still some portions that need to be ironed out.

Team Barra Enters Playoff Picture

With Team Harman again upseting a playoff team, Team Burns has fallen into a tie with Team barra at 14 - 15. The two teams play each other in the last week and it is possible that a playoff spot could be on the line. Team Harman's recent domination has also elevated them to fourth place overall, but still a ways out of third place.

Spoiler Alert

Team Harman is breaking hearts by making a last minute effort to spoil the NASCAR playoff chances of Team Barra and the playoff seeding of Team Case. Pairing back to back NASCAR H2H wins with a PBR event victory and adding to his NHRA win streak, now currently 3, Team Harman is stepping up his RFC value.

The Chase is Coming

Only more more NASCAR race, in Richmond, before the Chase for the Cup starts. Can you believe we are nearing the end of the 2008 RFC?

PBR is Back

Get ready for the return of PBR which has been on hiatus for some time now. Just when other teams thought their seasons were looking up, back comes Team Case's go to sport, in which they outscore the next closes competitor by 40 points per event. It is a biggie for third place Team Spaulding however, who is chasing Team Stancil for 2nd place. Team Spaulding has averaged slightly better scores than Team Stancil in this event and it will be vital that neither team misses a week which could set them back 400 or more points. Team Burns continues to fall at an alarming rate out of the chase for a place, all but having thrown in the towel for this season. It is a dissapointing turn of events after this team came storming out of gates when they were added midway through the season to work its way into second place, only to tumble down the ranks after losing 5 NASCAR events in a row and missing 3 of the last 5 NHRA events. While we can't count out Team Burns yet it is not looking good for their fans.
